Executive Recruiter/HR Consultant - Private Equity

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a high-energy, organized professional to join our Portfolio Operations team as a functional resource for our Human Capital area.

What will I do?
Lead Executive Portfolio Searches and On-board Candidates
  • Manage active C-level portfolio positions with hiring stakeholders and executive search vendor partners
  • Be the interface to vendors, portfolio company interview team members and candidates
  • Select and short-list qualified search firms
  • Create interview guides and scorecards for interview team
  • Lead all search update/status calls and take action as appropriate
  • Manage the on-boarding and integration of new portfolio leadership with the portfolio companies and Board of Directors
  • Manage a candidate and vendor Net Promoter Score initiative
  • Manage relationships with search and assessment vendors

Portfolio Operations Focus
  • Participate as a team member on the broader, global portfolio operations team and a member of the Human Capital Committee
  • Support Human Capital Due Diligence activities-facilitate processes to gather data (focus groups, interviews, data collection, process mapping), conduct analyses and synthesize findings/insights
  • Consult with investment and operating resources on issues and best practice Human Capital solutions within the portfolio
  • Execute project work at the portfolio company level
  • Manage the PayScale compensation benchmarking tool and run reports
  • Lead Employee Engagement implementation at portfolio company level
  • Assist in the development and evolution of best practices for Human Capital


Human Capital Network
  • Manage projects to develop specific profiles for the Baird Human Capital Network in Salesforce
  • Collaborate on candidate data to build more relevant profiles
  • Manage, screen and take/assign action on network referrals
  • Mine/search Salesforce for qualified candidates in support of various Human Capital needs across the Baird Capital team before engaging search partners
  • Salesforce database data entry for business development notes, opening new positions, and attaching resumes
  • Report monthly statistics for Salesforce adoption and usage
  • Utilize recruitment candidate research (sourcing) techniques and systems (LinkedIn, PitchBook) to search and build candidate pipelines
  • Serve as subject matter expert for LinkedIn, providing best practices and recommendations to the teams
  • Take on project work as needed
  • Perform first level candidate screening via phone or video interviews
  • Assist in the development and planning of talent network marketing campaigns and events
  • Utilize other human capital tools as needed


Candidate Profile - What we need from you?
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience related to executive search, human resource consulting or organizational effectiveness
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • Ability to influence in situations without formal authority and push back when appropriate
  • Must be able to work well with others internally and represent the company at a high level
  • Must have a sense of urgency on all projects and be able to meet deadlines and prioritize/manage multiple tasks.
  • High standards, attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work.
  • Candidate must have great communication skills, both oral and written. Must be comfortable speaking with high-level executives and build rapport with clients and colleagues and presenting recommendations
  • Computer skills will include Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel 25%
