Overview
LMI is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support USPS’s Artificial Intelligence Virtual Assistant (AIVA) operations. The Business Systems Analyst will be part of a team that is delivering comprehensive software lifecycle support for the AIVA product developed by USPS. All BSA candidates must have strong communication skills, a passion for project management and testing, and a desire to learn new technologies on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
- Gather business-focused requirements to support development teams and product owners, including supporting the backlog and ensuring the user’s perspective is considered.
- Identify core business needs, decompose, and document concepts of operation, story maps and user stories, document business rules and construct workflow diagrams, as needed.
- Develop and refine business needs statements and/or change requests containing clear and actionable epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Work with Product Management, Technical Leadership, and mission stakeholders to establish and monitor baseline key performance indicators (KPI)/metrics.
- Provide data analysis expertise to measure and report on progress towards objectives and key results, including both development/delivery metrics and business process outcomes.
- Participate in scrum, sprint planning, story refinement and backlog refinement sessions.
- Develop documents to support program compliance with USPS IT Technology Solutions Life Cycle.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in supporting cross-functional teams and engaging with leadership at various levels within an organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant business, technical, or professional, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an agile software development framework.
- Prior experience with Kubernetes, DialogFlow, and/or Google Cloud Computing Services.
- USPS Public Trust holder
Target Salary Range: $77,978 - $130,000
