Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Continuous Improvement Specialist to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule onsite at our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.
You will help lead rapid improvement activities in collaboration with departmental and cross-functional teams. Also you will provide continuous improvement guidance and support for complex and multi-organizational projects.
You will report to the Business Management Solution Center Lead Professional.
Responsibilities Include:
- Frequently interact with internal customers to understand and address their needs.
• Determine methods and approaches to best address the scope of activities.
• Identify and initiate improvement opportunities by analyzing current state processes and through end-user interactions.
• Demonstrate project management and facilitating multi-functional teams.

• Train leaders and associates on continuous improvement tools such as Lean, DMAIC, and PDSA.
• Analyze data through various systems and tools to define problems and measure the effectiveness of improvements.
• Manage deliverables, ensuring the progress of process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
EX2-Bachelor's Degree in a related Business field (Finance, Accounting) and 2 years of relevant experience in process improvement or a Master's Degree.
EX3-Bachelor’s Degree in a related Business field (Finance, Accounting) and 5 years of relevant experience in process improvement or a Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience in process improvement.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is: Level 2-Grade 420 ($54,876-$107,064) / Level 3-Grade 430 ($63,528- $130,284). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
