As an Customer Service Representative 2 within the Hall County Health Department within District Two, Georgia Department of Public Health, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways. District 2 Public Health serves 13 counties in northeast Georgia, including Banks, Dawson, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union, and White counties. One of the fastest growing regions in the state, District 2 includes rural and urban communities with diverse public health challenges.

Job Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, answers customer problems and inquiry calls. 
• Records problem history information. 
• Performs first level problem determination and resolution. 
• Serves as resource and provides guidance and experience to other staff.

Additional responsibilities:

• Women’s Health Intake Duties
• Intake of scheduled patients in women’s health clinic
• Mammogram referrals and BCCP enrollment
• PE, WH, and EMA Medicaid applications
• Daily patient reports
• OB enrollments for prenatal care
• Interpret in Spanish-speak, read and write for patients/clients. 
• Answer phones for the Hall County Health Department
• Schedule appointments for patients & confirm appointments
• Maintain patient accounts & records
• Insurance verification & updating insurance information
• Responds to community/health department email & any questions

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED AND One year of full-time work experience providing customer support or technical assistance.

Preferred qualifications:
To be able to speak, read and write Spanish.
