Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to join a high performing team supporting a government healthcare client. This position may be remote.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement front-end features and user interfaces. 
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. 
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for desktop and mobile. 
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure seamless user experience across various screen sizes. 
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging. 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices. 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to project planning and estimation. 
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience and a STEM BS degree (or equivalent experience). 
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role. 
  • Proficiency in Javascript, HTML, and CSS. 
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Vue, React, and/or Angular. 
  • Experience with responsive design techniques and cross-browser compatibility testing. 
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Bitbucket. 
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 

Desired:

  • Agile, Lean, DevOps, Cloud, Security+ or other professional certification 
  • Familiar with federal security standards
  • Experience with C# .NET, and/or NodeJS. 
  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services or equivalent. 
  • Ability to manipulate and analyze data. 
  • Experience working in a consultant/client environment.
