Our Innisfail, Alberta manufacturing facility has an opening for a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our Mechanical Maintenance Team with experience repairing industrial equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.  

Specific work schedule consists of 4-10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday

Hourly Rate Starts at $52.26/hr. with an increasing pay over the first year.

Your day will consist of providing repair, and preventative maintenance on plant fork trucks, emergency generator sets, tuggers, Track mobile, skid steer and plant truck. As well as dealing with contractors for service and parts. As well as assisting Mechanical Maintenance team as needed.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Alberta Journeyman experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Auto Mechanic.
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright certificate of qualification preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Above average teamwork skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer skill (Microsoft Office & Outlook)
  • SAP Maintenance Management System experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Electronically submits daily records of time and materials and keeps tool, machine equipment and stores records as requested. Teaches, enforces and exercises all safety precautions and reports hazardous working conditions. Keeps equipment, machines and working areas clean and orderly. Performs other miscellaneous jobs as directed.
  • This job requires periodic, non-repetitive manual lifting of weights that may exceed 50 pounds and requires a moderate to high degree of physical agility and endurance.
