What we do
The Quality team is part of the Manufacturing organization which is responsible for driving the continuous improvement practices of our systems' performance. Our quality team ensures that the products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. Their primary focus is to maintain consistency in the production of robots and automated systems that meet customer requirements and comply with industry standards. The quality team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the entire product development and manufacturing lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Plan, execute, and oversee quality activities to maintainhigh standards and proactively prevent quality issues.
- Use root cause methodologies to assess failures and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor manufacturing quality activities, providing regular performance updates through dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reports.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement corrective actions for failures identified in manufacturing processes.
- Travel to supplier sites to evaluate supplier processes, quality management systems, and adherence to industry standards to ensure alignment with company quality expectations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality standards and foster open communication regarding quality expectations and feedback.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- Enthusiasm for working with suppliers, with strong relationship-building skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a desire to work collaboratively across functions.
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification is considered a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or operations is preferred.
Our Environment
- Up to 50% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
