As the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations and ensure the safe application of the company’s advanced water treatment systems in the Pulp and paper, Food and beverage, and Industrial segments while also supporting the Energy sector. You will hire, train, and supervise field engineers and trial operators, manage equipment maintenance, assist with QA/QC alongside the HSEQ VP, support client relationship development, organize logistics, and ensure effective communication with on-site personnel.
To thrive, you should have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a BS/BA or technical degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in project management and chemical treatment programs, preferably in water or biocidal treatment equipment.
- Team leadership experience, including supervising salaried and hourly personnel.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, distributors, and safety personnel.
- Technical proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office suites and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel and work outdoors in various conditions, with the physical capacity to lift 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
Your responsibilities as the Support Teams’ Operations Manager will include:
- Ensure safety compliance by overseeing the implementation of safety protocols, training, and promoting a safety culture.
- Train and evaluate field engineers and trial operators, developing competency in equipment operation and safety practices.
- Plan and supervise equipment mobilization/demobilization, ensuring efficient operations and logistics coordination.
- Facilitate communication between Clean Chemistry and trial site personnel to define trial plans and performance metrics.
- Provide reporting and support for customer service and internal management, including troubleshooting and problem-solving in the field.
