This is hourly paid work performing professional health care services. Positions scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits.

PT Hourly Georgia Registered Pharmacist that will be scheduled to work a minimum of 8 hours a week on Fridays (7a-3:30p). The pharmacist will also be scheduled based on their availability to cover the Pharmacist In Charge (PIC).
Job Responsibilities
Dispensing medications: fill prescriptions according to doctor's orders, making sure the correct dosage, strength, and quantity is used. They also ensure the medication is in a child-safe container and in the patient's name.
Educating patients: advise patients on how to take their medications, potential side effects, and storage. They may also direct patients to over-the-counter medications.
Communicating with other healthcare professionals: Pharmacists advise physicians and other healthcare workers on the selection, dosage, and interactions of medications. They also communicate with physicians and/or nurse practitioner's to ensure the correct medication is dispensed.
Ensuring compliance: work in accordance with Federal and state policy and procedures, laws/regulations (i.e. ADAP, 340B).
Maintaining records: keep records and perform other administrative tasks.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment: Pharmacists adhere to infection-control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Maintaining pharmacy supplies: order and purchase pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs. also maintain stock and store and handle it properly.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate or professional degree in pharmacology from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice pharmacology AND Six months of professional pharmacology experience OR One year of experience at the lower level Pharmacist 1 (HCP150) or position equivalent.
