The Role

Our organization is looking for a passionate senior level engineer to build and support world-class products for our brokerage applications. These applications allow our customers to perform online trading and financial portfolio management. Our engineering team is innovative, diverse, passionate and self-driven. We work in a very dynamic agile environment.

As a hands-on Principal Software Engineer, you'll be writing various web services APIs, providing technology leadership, and guiding the team in implementing best in class engineering solutions for our internal and external applications. You will quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications, and be able to lead and contribute to the strategic roadmaps and initiatives related to the enhancement, maintenance, and support of these applications.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

  • 8+ years of experience developing Java based applications

  • Expertise performing analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of enterprise applications using Java technologies

  • Effective communication skills, ability to work with multiple teams to solve problems and be able to present solutions to both peers and senior management.

  • Expertise following Agile methodologies and using tools such as Eclipse, Spring tool suite (STS), in-memory databases such as KDB database, building applications in Linux environments.

  • Experience following Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using DevOps tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Udeploy, and Veracode
