KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to gather and document project objectives, requirements, and functional specifications.
- Perform data analysis to provide actionable insights that align projects with strategic goals and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring that project requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Conduct gap analysis, identify areas for process improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize business and project efficiency.
- Assist in preparing business cases, project documentation, and requirements for testing and validation phases.
Portfolio Management and Oversight:
- Support leadership in cultivating and maintaining portfolio roadmaps that align with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with business and functional leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and key results that projects are expected to achieve, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and track KPIs and key results across the project portfolio, providing ongoing reporting and analysis to ensure projects meet expected outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver regular portfolio reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into portfolio health, risks, and performance.
- Analyze portfolio-level risks, resource allocation, and overall project performance to identify potential bottlenecks or issues, recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Assist with the system administration and upkeep of Planview AdaptiveWork, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting for the project portfolio.
- Provide basic user support and training for project teams on Planview AdaptiveWork functionalities, ensuring data consistency and system optimization.
Project Support (as needed):
- Work alongside project managers to ensure that project timelines, budgets, and resources are in line with portfolio priorities.
- Provide support in the development of project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and decision logs.
- Assist in tracking project milestones and deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines and business expectations.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role within a PMOenvironment.
- Strong understanding of business processes, project lifecycles, and portfolio management best practices.
- Experience with portfolio management, reporting, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Planview AdaptiveWork or other project portfolio management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in enterprise-level organizations or shared services environments.
- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on translating data into actionable business insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage both short-term tasks and long-term strategic initiatives.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Team members work in an office or remote work environment. No special physical demandsare required.
- Rare or occasional travel may be required to attend business meetings, training programs, or other situations necessary to accomplish some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.

Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
