Description

Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Supervisor - Mission Service Acquisitions to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located at our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.

You will report to the Manager, Mission Service Acquisitions. As a supervisor, you will have seven to eight personnel reporting directly to you.

Responsibilities Include:

  • You will provide immediate management to a unit or group of employees.
  • You will supervise semi-experienced employees (e.g., crafts, represented staff, assemblers, operators, packagers, material tracking, clerical) on one shift or in one work group.
  • Manage the activities of non-exempt or represented staff in a section or department with accountability for results regarding costs, strategies, and employees.
  • Maintain schedules and workflow of the team.
  • Direct team members on a course of action based on knowledge of established procedures. Assign tasks and monitor work at frequent intervals.
  • Manage employees who perform similar tasks. 
  • Receive predetermined work assignments that are process-driven, and subject to a moderate level of control and review. Complete specified routine tasks.
  • Monitor projects to ensure completion and within budget. Provide input and contribute to managing costs related to a unit or subunit.
  • First level of management with human resource (hire/fire/pay action) responsibilities.
  • You will have your own individual contributor responsibilities.
  • Work with your team and functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves the exchange or presentation of information. Convey straightforward information to audiences.
  • Follow established practices in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor’s or higher degree is a firm requirement and four years of contract-related experience. There is a strong preference for Contacts experience in a DOE M&O environment.

Job Information: 

  • The target pay range for this position is ($92,311 - $139,151) annually.  The full pay range is ($76,980 $177,036). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
  • You are required to show a demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.
  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
