Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Supply Chain Data Anlaytics Consultant in the Washington, DC metro area. A successful LMI Senior Consultant in this position will demonstrate competency leading tasks and small teams to perform capability gap analyses, and develop data analytics plans and roadmaps while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.

Responsibilities


  • Provide supply chain data anlyatics advisory and strategy services for asset management and other supply chain functions.
  • Lead gap analyses and conduct planning and roadmapping for supply chain engineering.
  • Support projects analyzing existing system-support supply chains (including, inventory management, maintenance, and distribution) in government organizations.
  • Provide consulting services related across multiple classes of supply, with particular focus on wholesale and retail level inventory management processes, policies, performance measurement and analysis.
  • Support government organizations in correcting audit findings and material weaknesses in Inventory, Operating Material & Supplies, and Requisitioning.
  • Analyze and assess governments organizations' logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, supply chain management, supply chain analytics, logistics, or similar discipline.  
  • 8+ plus years’ experience with supply chain management with specific duties related to supply chain data analytics. 
  • Must have knowledge in government inventory management, provisioning, distribution, and packaging principles, concepts, policies and processes to ensure enterprise wide efficient, cost effective end-to-end logistics performance.
  • Technical experience working with and performing supply chain data analysis.
  • Knowledge of commercially based supply chain solutions/platforms, including ServiceNow. 
  • Experience with SAS and MS Power BI 
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written 
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry 
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Master’s degree (Supply Chain Analytics preferred)
  • Prior government/contractor experience 
  • Working knowledge of Nuvolo
  • Experience with asset management analytics
  • Preference for candidates with current Public Trust background investigation.
