LMI is seeking a Technical Integrator Subject Matter Expert to assist a United States Army client in developing solutions for next generation command and control.

This position requires an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
As a Technical Integrator SME, you will play a critical role in the program, requiring a unique combination of subject matter expertise and organizational strategy.
In this challenging and multi-faceted role, you will be responsible for a range of key activities including:
Technical: Deep experience with US Army processes and systems related to Command and Control. Ideally, someone that has worked on the current generation of Army C2 systems intimately and/or has experience with alternatives offered by other services throughout the DoD options available for industry. Additional experience in US Army networking systems, communications, data architectures, software development lifecycle, and current Army initiatives is helpful.
Solutions Architect / Product Management: Serve as a solutions architect and thought leader to combine multiple software and platform solutions into a coherent system. Manage a product backlog and develop features/user stories to drive development. All of this while having the ability to envision a solution for future scalability, extensibility and uses while delivering a right size MVP and iterating to build the solution of tomorrow, today. Work with multiple vendors and units to build a comprehensive command and control solution for evaluation by the USG.
Project Delivery: Assist in the delivery of high-quality deliverables, on time and within budget, while establishing project efficiencies and managing key client relationships to ensure client satisfaction, to include advising on the appropriate mix of capabilities, solutions/tools, and approaches to address client requirements. Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues, and work with product operations administrators to meet programmatic, financial, and technical goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Minimum 8 years of experience with the US Army
- 2-4 Experience deploying mission command systems and networks on-prem, in the cloud, and at the edge to support training and/or combat operations for a Brigade or larger formation
- Experience experimenting with new technologies and integrating into training events for rapid prototyping and fielding
- Understanding of DoD software development, networking, cybersecurity frameworks, and best practices
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Ability to own driving client engagement and stakeholder management
- Skilled in the use of project management techniques and best practices
- Previous experience planning military exercises
Desired:
- Knowledge of DoD-wide Command & Control Initiatives
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Project or Product Management Certifications such as PMP or CSPO
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, and/or Server+
- Previous product management experience, defining an MVP and leading engineering team(s) to drive delivery.
- Experience in enterprise database, data-centric enterprise system design, and multidimensional networks
- Commissioned officer in the maneuver of fires branches of the U.S. Army with completion of the Captains Career Course or ILE.
