The Co-op &amp; Billing Coordinator works closely with the Co-op &amp; Billing Manager to facilitate all co-op billing to our publishing partners.&nbsp;Billing includes but is not limited to all publisher placement and pass-through, funding for promotions, seasonal markdowns, wholesaler funds, and expenses associated with Shopper’s Marketing. Works closely with the Shopper’s Marketing Specialists and Sales teams to facilitate.&nbsp;What You Will Be Doing:<ul><li>Supports efforts of the Shoppers Marketing department to manage overarching co-op and promotional spending for retail accounts, optimizing available co-op funds to maximize sales, improve business results, and support merchandising initiatives.</li><li>Maintains electronic library of advertising/merchandising vehicles, deadlines, and fees by retailer.</li><li>Coordinates the execution of promotions at key retailers, including planning, design, and funding.</li><li>Negotiates publisher funding to support in-store promotions.</li><li>Assists with publisher co-op reporting, including maintaining checkbooks by publisher and retailer.</li><li>Creates sales presentations as needed.</li><li>Collates promotional submissions from publishers on a quarterly basis, or as needed.</li><li>Maintains tracking logs as needed</li><li>Assists with advertisements in monthly promotions. &nbsp;Coordinates copywriters, editors, photographers, and the creative department to ensure ads are produced in a timely fashion.</li><li>Works with publishing representatives, warehouse club buyers, and ReaderLink personnel to negotiate funding for endcaps, placement, and other vehicles for our customers.</li><li>Works with internal and external partners to develop and execute promotional programs, including but not limited to special pricing, in-store signage, advertisements, online promotions, and in-store display vehicles.</li><li>Time Management – the individual has the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and customers using a range of skills, tools, and techniques to effectively manage tasks, projects, goals, deadlines, and schedules.</li><li>Interpersonal Skills – the individual can effectively work with a wide variety of personalities and perspectives, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits a willingness to try new things.</li><li>Written and Oral Communication – the individual speaks clearly and persuasively, successfully negotiates on behalf of his/her customers (internal and external), and can represent ReaderLink and customers in a professional manner in public and private interactions. The individual also edits written work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively, and is able to read and interpret written information.</li><li>Organization – the individual can effectively develop and maintain processes for record-keeping and reporting for their customers, projects, goals, and deadlines. &nbsp;Must be able to maintain high levels of accuracy and detail.</li><li>Analysis – the individual can combine and apply information from disparate sources and can interpret and draw conclusions from both quantitative and qualitative data.</li><li>Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.</li></ul>What You Will Need:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred. </li><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.</li><li>One (1) year of marketing and/or sales experience is preferred.</li><li>Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.</li><li>Strong organizational and analytical skills are required. </li><li>Ability to react promptly to customer’s needs is required. </li><li>Demonstrates strong problem-solving and customer service skills are required. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple demands; prioritizes and allocates time efficiently. </li><li>Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners. </li><li>Analytical and mathematical proficiency is required.</li><li>The work performed is in an office environment.</li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.</li><li>Must be able to work independently on tactics and in high-functioning groups on strategic direction.</li></ul>Salary: $24.04/hour - $25.00/hourReaderLink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
