As Lab Coordinator, you will help with administrative matters related to the operation and many projects of the lab and work closely with our team of 20-30 researchers, engineers, and designers. You will also work closely with other coordinators and administrators within the HIDIVE Lab, the Department, Harvard Medical School, and colleagues outside of the university. Directly manage the calendar of Dr. Gehlenborg and lab calendars.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain organized records of administrative documents, research activities, and meeting minutes. Follow up on action items and deliverables. Track publications, poster presentations, talks, and other research outputs by members of the lab. Maintain team database.</li><li>Standard Operating Procedures: Develop documentation and standard operating procedures to optimize lab internal processes in collaboration with the PI, R&amp;D Manager, and other coordinators.</li><li>Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and correspondence. This role will play an important part in a new pilot program, which focuses on preparing 18-25 year-old trainees for entry-level roles in life sciences laboratories. This role will support the Assistant Director of MEDscienceLAB &amp; Forensics in developing and implementing an expanded version of the MEDscienceLAB curriculum that is tailored towards preparing older students for entry-level roles. The teacher must be confident and comfortable in a wet lab space teaching students about the basics of laboratory research and current laboratory techniques such as gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, PCR, and ELISA. In addition, the teacher will be responsible for ordering reagents and materials, preparing experimental protocols, and setting up the equipment for each session. Our medical simulations require teachers to take on the roles of instructor, attending physician, patient, and/or counselor to students as they diagnose patients (training provided). Job Summary
The Director TSBDC at JSCC will oversee the operations, budget, and strategy for the TSBDC in compliance with the TSBDC-JSCC Annual Contract and the TSBDC Strategic Plan. The incumbent is responsible for the delivery of TSBDC programs to individuals, businesses, and organizations throughout the TSBDC at JSCC’s territory. To effectively deliver services to a territory of this size, the director will oversee the offices and staff at the primary office in Jackson, Madison County. Overseeing the public outreach arm of JSCC, the Director supports the host institution through direct and indirect involvement in JSCC programs. The Director is required to travel throughout the service area and is responsible for establishing relationships with stakeholders in the new territory, maintaining existing partnerships in our traditional territory, ensure a positive and impactful presence from the TSBDC and JSCC in business communities throughout the territory and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.

Pay Rate: $54,085 - $67,607 Annual salary depending on eligible experience which is defined by the current compensation plan.
