PayThe 2024* pay rate starts at $38.74/hour. Overtime is paid where applicable.*Wages are reviewed annually.Your Day-to-Day<ul><li>Be able to work any shift, including rotating, weekends, holidays, and overtime.</li></ul><ul><li>Be an active participant in the safety process and practice safe work habits at all times.</li></ul><ul><li>Inspect, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment throughout various departments in the facility.</li><li>Maintain equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels.</li><li>Identify any equipment issues and bring to supervisors' attention.</li><li>Participate in the preventative maintenance schedule.</li></ul><ul><li>Operate with high level professionalism and teamwork orientation.</li><li>Make out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc., and perform other clerical duties necessary to maintain proper records relative to the work performed.</li></ul>What you Bring to the Team:<ul><li>The ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.</li></ul><ul><li>At least a high school level of math, language and reasoning skills.</li><li>Experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.</li><li>The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and drawings.</li></ul><ul><li>The proven ability to troubleshoot and handle multiple priorities and projects.</li><li>The ability to write routine reports and correspondence legibly.</li><li>The ability to operate various types of mobile equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, lift trucks, etc. and the ability to obtain a license to operate them.</li><li>The ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, reach, and stoop frequently.</li><li>The ability to manually lift at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions.</li><li>The ability to work at heights. </li><li>The ability to execute both fine and gross motor hand movements.</li><li>The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment.</li><li>The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold).</li></ul>Please Keep in Mind If you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
