The Managing Director of Strategic Partnerships and Development is in a key position to drive the advancement of BCBS Plans’ competitive position. This role has the responsibility for establishing and leading pioneering community partnerships, driving the development of new programs and services at BCBSA in partnership with external affairs and other BCBSA teams, and the execution and scaling of innovative national partnerships on behalf of BCBS Plans. The Managing Director will partner closely with the VP of Strategic Partnerships &amp; Development, and the broader team, to lead all stages of identification, development, scaling, and management of pilots, programs, and partnerships that drive value to our members and Plans.<ul><li>Develop, negotiate, implement, and scale strategic partnerships with established and emerging entities to enable the success and market differentiation of the BCBS System</li><li>Identify pioneering community and public health partnerships that distinguish BCBS in a leadership position in emerging impactful areas. The Executive Director, Public Affairs and Administration is a highly visible leadership role that advances BCBSA organizational and policy priorities by directing impactful strategic initiatives and driving internal, cross-functional collaboration. Develops strategy for and manages execution of coalition, Beltway and in-district public affairs campaigns. Builds, strengthens and expands relationships with external partners. Leads policy communications to develop impactful educational and messaging resources for plan members, industry leadership, and positioning. The Executive Director, Cyber Threat Intelligence combines deep technical expertise with an ability to lead across the BlueCross BlueShield system to deliver an advanced cyber threat intelligence service. You will lead a team of highly proficient technical resources within Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) to work across 30+ individual BCBS Plans to curate, collect, and disseminate healthcare and Blue-specific strategic and tactical cyber threat intelligence information. As a senior security leader, you’ll bring your knowledge of mature cyber threat intelligence programs and operations to bear to create practical understanding of the cyber threat landscape to enhance prevention, detection, and response capabilities across the Blue system. You will work closely across a distributed security community to evolve and advance cyber threat information collection and analysis processes, develop technical solutions that empower threat intelligence analysts with actionable and relevant threat information, and serve as trusted advisor and partner in shaping cybersecurity operational practices and strategic initiatives based on cyber threat intelligence. You’ll effectively and concisely communication technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences, to brief them on the business and technical aspects of the changing threat landscape to the healthcare industry and the collective Blue System.
