Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking Senior Sourcing Specialist&nbsp;in our Fullerton, CA&nbsp;location. Summary Position is responsible for cost reduction activities within specified commodities or locations and optimizing the buying process for those commodities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Responsible for working with the other regional and locations buyers to coordinate like buying activities and to implement the appropriate optimized processes for those buys using the proper procurement tools and technology.</li><li>Responsible for sourcing lowest-cost, best lead time material, products, and/or services.</li><li>Responsible for developing scorecards and improvement plans for suppliers, to share with suppliers at routine business reviews.</li><li>Responsible for developing negotiation strategies and bringing new negotiation ideas to the table.&nbsp; Responsible for owning negotiation projects and bringing negotiation results to fruition.</li><li>Responsible for establishing price lists and commercial terms with suppliers.</li><li>May establish certain discount programs with suppliers, such as volume-based incentive programs and min/max programs.</li><li>Expected to meet regularly with key internal stakeholders to learn about current business priorities and how Procurement can align with these priorities.</li><li>Responsible for managing a program to increase supplier payment terms, to reduce net working capital.</li><li>Expected to take an active role in the buying process.
