<h4>KANSAS SPEEDWAY</h4>Kansas Speedway, which opened in 2001, is located in the heart of the Midwest in Kansas City, Kansas. Operating a variety of equipment.&nbsp; Basic office systems knowledge including but not limited to computer systems and programs, and cellular phone.Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Performs all preventive maintenance functions including some electrical, plumbing and HVAC maintenance/repairs related to building maintenance.</li><li>Welds, cuts and fabricates.</li><li>Tests repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency.</li><li>Requisitions parts and equipment with Supervisors approval.</li><li>Keeps records and reports.</li><li>Provides general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe facility.</li><li>Operate equipment as needed.</li><li>Employee will be responsible for track preparation, maintenance, and restoration.</li><li>Track cleaning (sweeping, blowing, applying and picking up absorbent, washing/scrubbing fluids off of the track, etc.).</li><li>Reconfiguring the track between oval, full road course, modified road course, short road course, and drag strip.&nbsp;</li><li>General maintenance around the facility, including painting.</li><li>Ability to operate and maintain many different pieces of equipment including vehicles, lifts, and other heavy machinery.&nbsp;</li><li>Installing and storing signage throughout the property.</li><li>Assist with fleet management and inventory.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Hours may vary but will include all hours of operation, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to work events and to fulfill job responsibilities.
