We are well positioned for future success and our goal is to continue increasing share in the industry.What you will work onThe Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst ELT plays a key role within Proximo Spirits and the Business Intelligence and Analytics division championing the use of data analysis to drive Customer and Brand growth.This person will lead key projects to bring and improve insight into key enterprise metrics and drive action based on the resulting insights. They will partner closely with teams across the company to understand their problems and design datasets that can deliver concrete insights in a scalable and sustainable way. They will communicate findings and implications for stakeholders from various functions. This person will report to the Manager of Analytics.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and Develop ETL Processes: Create and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into data warehouses and other storage solutions.</li><li>AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and RDS to design and implement scalable and secure data integration solutions.</li><li>Develop and maintain new analytical capabilities and reporting utilizing Tableau, SQL and other tools that will help drive insights for Sales and Marketing.</li><li>Python Scripting: Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks within the ETL processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.</li><li>Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data flow diagrams, and data mappings.</li><li>Apply data-driven strategic thinking to frame complex questions into analytical problems and provide meaningful insights</li><li>Monitor and improve BI operations, automating processes where possible and identifying and correcting issues proactively</li></ul>What you bring<ul><li>Initiative: Takes responsibility to get work done efficiently and effectively</li><li>Analytical Mindset: Organizes and thinks through large amounts of information, arriving at a succinct conclusion</li><li>Strategic thinking and problem solving: Understands category strategy and how to use analyses to deliver actionable findings for risks and opportunities</li><li>Accountability: High level of accountability, flexibility, and self-direction to work autonomously</li><li>Effective storyteller: Consistently goes beyond the data and translates the data into meaningful strategic stories bringing the data to life and driving insights-based business decisions</li><li>Intellectual curiosity: Approaches business questions with curiosity to understand, build insights, and ultimately solve for the right action</li><li>Passion for success, including the success of others: Track record of positive impact that includes a significant component of working with and through others to achieve the goal</li><li>Proficient project manager: Able to prioritize team-level tasks and manage schedule to complete work on time and within deliverable expectations</li><li>Detail oriented: Consistently delivers quality, error-free work with close attention to detail</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills: Able to work well with others and collaborate productively with other team members and other divisions</li><li>Communicate effectively: Demonstrates ability to effectively express ideas and opinions</li><li>Developed Presentation Skills: Effective presentation acumen towards developing decks for audiences of various sizes and management level</li></ul>Key Relationships<ul><li>Internal: Business Intelligence, Commercial Strategy, Field Sales, Marketing</li></ul>Desired Experience, Knowledge, and Characteristics<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and 5+ years of experience.</li><li>Experience leveraging technologies/tools such as Snowflake &amp; Tableau.</li><li>Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and architecture using SQL, Alteryx, and/or Matillion.</li><li>Relational database modelling and implementation using SQL.</li><li>Strong knowledge of data manipulation, database design, foundational data analytics and data platform structures; ability to manage large data sets &amp; databases</li><li>Expert Microsoft Office Proficiency</li></ul>The salary range for this role is a base salary of $73,500 - $122,500 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
