Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a newly established role on a growing HR team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, Executive Education, the Coordinator will support the department’s talent acquisition program. The Coordinator will partner closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager, ExEd HR team, and HBS HR to implement a recruiting strategy to support a department of over 200 FTEs.

Position Description

  • Responsible for sourcing talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates using various proven methods
  • Conduct phone screens, source candidates, review resumes, schedule interviews, collect interview feedback, and set up references within online platform
  • Advise hiring managers on the hiring process and HR policies
  • Assist with implementing diversity recruiting initiatives and contribute to an environment that attracts and retains a diverse pool of talent
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager on continually evaluating and improving a comprehensive talent management strategy
  • Develop and implement advertising and related recruitment strategies; track conversion rates and recommend adjustments
  • Manage a variety of processes and forms in service of the organization’s growth, including position request forms and posting positions in applicant tracking system
  • Manage applicant flow, tracking and documenting where searches and candidates are in the process
  • Track and report on key recruiting and employment metrics
  • Track potentials, referrals, and past candidates to build organizational pipeline
  • May assist with recruiting for the HBS Online department
  • This role is responsible for other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related administration capacity.
  • Education beyond high school may count toward experience.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in a role with exposure to recruiting and/or onboarding strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
  • Sound judgment and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion
  • Deep understanding of the diplomacy and protocol involved in building and maintaining productive, positive relationships with staff

Additional Information

This is a 40-hour/week, overtime-eligible position.

This is a hybrid position which we consider to be a combination of remote and on site work at our Boston, MA based campus. HBS expects all staff to be onsite 3 days per week and departments provide onsite coverage Monday - Friday. Specific hours and days onsite will be determined by business needs and are subject to change with appropriate advanced notice.

We may conduct candidate interviews virtually (phone and/or via Zoom) and/or in-person for this role.
