The role will require a process-improvement mindset to further support the significant growth of the Hampton facility over the coming years. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Support monthly financial forecasts, weekly projections, financial and operational results analysis, monthly account reconciliations, inventory analyses, and spend reduction activities.</li><li>Perform Howmet Self-Assessment audits as well as ensuring SOX compliance.</li><li>Prepare and analyze account reconciliations on a monthly basis.</li><li>Review, analyze and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses.</li><li>Assist internal and external auditors where required.</li><li>Provide management with appropriate reports to aid decision making.</li><li>Assist with month-end close activities.</li><li>Develop process improvements to improve the efficiency of the Finance team where appropriate.&nbsp;</li></ul> Skills and Abilities:&nbsp; <ul><li>Good organization skills and ability to prioritize key work activities.</li><li>Effective communication style, and ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>Self-starter with good attitude, demonstrating enthusiasm to learn about the business.</li><li>Effective presenter of information.</li><li>Strong ability to use Microsoft Excel and other Office Applications.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li></ul> Basic Qualifications: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of relevant financial experience</li></ul> Preferred Qualification: <ul><li>Experience in a manufacturing environment</li></ul> About Howmet Aerospace Howmet Aerospace Inc.
