POSITION SUMMARY The Tutor Navigator is a crucial role at the College, designed to enhance student success in corequisite courses. This position involves collaborating with faculty, tutors and the Learning Center Coordinator as a liaison to identify students' tutoring needs, schedule tutoring sessions, track student progress and report outcomes. The Tutor Navigator proactively contacts students, ensuring they receive the necessary support to improve their academic performance. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with faculty to identify specific skills and knowledge areas where students need tutoring. Proactively contact students referred by faculty to schedule tutoring sessions via email, text message or phone. Coordinate with the Learning Center Coordinator to match students with appropriate tutoring support. Maintain ongoing communication with students to ensure their tutoring needs are met.
Track and monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records of tutoring sessions. Generate regular reports on student engagement and tutoring outcomes. Utilize technology and data analysis tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tutoring scheduling. Participate in Learning Resource Center meetings, faculty meetings and/or training sessions as required, including participating in evening and weekend events as needed.

The HCP must have a baseline single test followed by serial skin testing every 6 months. If the HCP has a baseline positive result or has previously had a positive result, a chest radiograph must be completed to exclude a diagnosis of TB disease. Thereafter, every 6 months the HCP must receive a symptom screen. Job Summary
Reporting to the Adult Education Program Director, the ESL Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literacy to adult learners with limited English proficiency according to Tennessee Adult Education ESL content standards and assessment competencies while accommodating individual learner’s needs and goals. In addition, this position will serve as lead for all ESL programs and assist the director with state initiates including ESL reporting, state meetings and development of other ESL teachers and materials.
Job Duties
• Follow the TN Division of Adult Education Assessment Policy for pre- and post-testing to assess and evaluate students to determine their progress and potential for advancement to the next National Reporting System (NRS) level utilizing the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS).
• Provide orientation for new ESL students including CASAS proctoring.
• Administer assessment, interpret scores, and advise students on their performance on the test.
• Provide instruction to a multi-level class in reading, writing, speaking, and listening for every lesson.
• Maintain student attendance and records of progress in accordance with the Division of Adult Education requirements.
• Participate in the retention and follow-up of students.
• Participate in local and state activities/staff development.
• Lead curriculum initiatives for the ESL teachers in compliance with state wide initiatives.
• Assist the director with state reporting requirements for ESL students.
• Work with ESL students for career pathways for integration into workforce training and/or degree pathways.
• Use a variety of instructional approaches, including integrating technology in the classroom to accommodate different learning styles and levels of functioning.
• Adhere to AE teaching standards/classroom requirements.
• Assist with recruitment, registration, orientation, and assessment as needed.
• Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.&nbsp;
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution • One (1) year of teaching experience in an ESL program, post-secondary, or adult education program 
Preferred Qualifications
