General Duties:
The CDL Driver will transport the mobile trainer to various locations for events, including elementary, middle, and high schools.
<ul>
<li>The driver will assist TCAT – McMinnville staff/students in demonstrating classroom equipment and skills for various TCAT – McMinnville programs on the mobile training trailer at each location.</li>
<li>The driver will be responsible for properly loading and securing training stations on the mobile training trailer prior to departure.</li>
<li>The driver will be responsible for ensuring proper set-up for demonstrations at each location and securing equipment in-transit.</li>
<li>The driver will be responsible for unloading and storing training stations in original locations at the end of each trip.</li>
<li>The driver will be responsible for leveling and balancing the trailer with jacks.</li>
<li>The driver will also help move the semi-trailers and semi-trucks as needed.</li>
</ul>

Key Responsibilities – Essential Job Functions
<ul>
<li>Transport the mobile trainer and training equipment to a variety of locations.</li>
<li>Learn and utilize trainer equipment for demonstrations for both K-12 and adults.</li>
<li>Assist TCAT – McMinnville staff/students with demonstrations and recruiting students for programs at these events.</li>

      Adjunct Faculty Pool - Workforce Development
    

Provides administrative and clerical support to the DSCC Henry County Center.
Working Conditions:
Sedentary: Deskwork; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Normal range of movement required. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Serve in a receptionist role while supporting various administrative functions of the Center.</li>

Title: Student Success Advisor, School of Health Sciences (Grant-funded)
POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing program advising and holistic supports for identified students specifically pursuing a degree or certificate in a healthcare related field. This position is currently funded by the Tennessee Board of Regents’ Relational Advising and Peer Mentoring grant through June 30, 2025 and is eligible for renewal thereafter.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides health sciences advising across all campuses. Builds relationships with assigned students to help them achieve their identified goals and objectives as they apply to and are enrolled in a health sciences program. Reviews student progress, including tracking and maintaining records of student conversations and use of recommended academic support service referrals and opportunity programs. Assists selected students in identifying factors that contribute to a lack of academic progress, helps students examine alternatives and applies appropriate retention strategies to support students’ efforts.
Strategizes with faculty and staff as needed to improve and/or support student success. Supports and participates in annual recruitment and enrollment of new students by providing pre-advising and/or career advising for selected programs, coordinates campus events for potential health sciences students, attends career fairs to promote Nashville State health sciences programs and participates in other promotional/recruitment activities. Utilizes an SIS student records system and be able to function within a computerized office environment.
Attends monthly TBR Relational Advising meetings and all other related trainings. Adheres to the approved guidelines of the Relational Advising and Peer Mentoring grant awarded by the Tennessee Board of Regents, including administering surveys, assessing and reporting data, fulfilling reporting requirements, ensuring complete and appropriate expenditures of all grant funds and ensuring all grant activities are closed, finalized or transitioned at the conclusion of the grant. The Chief Access and Compliance Officer supports the Vice Chancellor in the efficient and effective operation of the Office of Student Success and Strategic Partnerships. The Chief Access and Compliance Officer—Support, Training, and Compliance will be responsible for supporting the 13 community colleges and 24 colleges of applied technology, as well as the system office, in preventing discrimination and providing opportunities for all students. The DSIO will provide leadership and training for colleges and the system office in the areas of Title VI, Title IX, and Methods of Administration (MOA) compliance. This position reports to and supports the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Support Services and works in concert with system office leaders and personnel, as well as senior level administrators, staff, faculty and students to meet compliance obligations efficiently and effectively and foster ethical behavior and a culture of integrity. The position will serve as the Title VI Coordinator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator and will have primary responsibilities at the system office for non-discrimination training, including providing leadership and coordination necessary for implementation of major components of non-discrimination compliance within the TBR system. The position provides leadership and guidance on development and implementation of federal student and employee compliance topics, with an emphasis on helping the colleges’ Title IX Coordinators. The AVC is a service-based role assisting other stakeholders with systemwide projects and initiatives and will also conduct investigations into allegations of discrimination involving employees and students as needed. The position must possess the ability to build consensus and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel with a combination of tenacity and tact. Salary is $560 per credit hour. Workload adjustments will be made for faculty teaching classes where the number of contact hours exceeds the number of credit hours. Additionally, a travel stipend may be negotiated at time of hire for faculty traveling more than 80 miles each week to teach their classes. For part-time faculty who continue to work at Columbia State, salary is based on collegiate level teaching experience documented during the first semester of teaching.
Part-Time Faculty Duties and Responsibilities
The part-time faculty member reports directly to the dean for assignments/duties and is responsible for:

<li>Preparing for courses as assigned and adhering to departmental course syllabi and course minimum student learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Beginning and ending all classes as schedules.</li>
<li>Organizing, assigning, and supervising learning activities of students in his/her classes.</li>
<li>Maintaining academic standards and classroom behavior to ensure an environment conducive to learning. Evaluating students using a variety of methods and for informing each student of scores received on each assessment in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintaining accurate records of student attendance/participating and grades.</li>
<li>Reading Columbia State email and responding to student questions via email in a timely manner.</li>

Physical Demands and Working Requirements (ADA Requirements):

Pay Range: $20 per hour depending on qualifications.
