Open Rank in Physical Therapy and Movement Sciences The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) College of Health Sciences invites nominations and applications for a full-time Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate, or Clinical Professor (non-tenure track) position in the Department of Physical Therapy and Movement Sciences (DPT&amp;MS). This is a 12-month (9-month plus 3-month) appointment in the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The successful applicants must be U.S. licensed physical therapist with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy or academic doctorate in physical therapy or a related field, and have expertise in one or more of the following clinical fields: Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Cardiopulmonary, Oncology, Pediatrics, or Gender Health. Job responsibilities will be approximately 60-70% teaching, with the remaining workload split among clinical practice in a pro-bono clinic, some scholarly activity (e.g., grant writing, manuscript submissions, and conference presentations), and service to the program, college, university, community, and profession. Anticipated appointment date is negotiable but not later than Fall 2025.
